The White Rabbit! This is the very first painting created for the 'Portraits of Wonderland' series - a collection of paintings capturing the wonderful personalities of Lewis Carroll's marvelous book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. This curious and fluffy little fellow, of course, leads us into Wonderland where we get to meet the rest of his wonderful friends.

In creating this piece, not only did it make sense to start with the White Rabbit, given he is the very first of the characters Lewis Carroll invites us to meet from down below, but I wanted to capture a sense of mystery and invitation to the viewer, to participate in the adventure, just as this little guy does in the story.

IMPORTANT: There was a minor cut in the canvas but has been repaired/glued with canvas backing and is generally unnoticeable. I have discounted the price to reflect this.

Please be aware this is a large painting at 4' in length, which requires special shipping with carriers, and special packaging to ensure it is protected well during transit. The shipping and packaging are estimated to be above $550 for many destinations and likely above if being shipped for a good distance. Before purchasing, please send us an email with your contact and delivery/destination information, so shipping costs can be determined for this painting.  Once purchase is made, it will require at least 2-3 days of preparation, including a short wait for the box to be delivered to us for packaging.
