What a Dodo, indeed! Here is one of the first drawings being made available for the Portraits of Wonderland series. This is a matted 16"x20" framed original graphite drawing - a study done for the painting I am currently working on at the moment! More information to come soon about the painting.
One interesting thing about this piece is that it captures something I found to be a common theme, or a common fascination that Lewis Carroll seemed to have when creating his story, and something which I'm not so sure many people have picked up on. At least, not something I've heard anything about from others who enjoy his work. What is it? Well, that will come in time and, perhaps, be discovered by you as I build up the other portraits in this series!
